In 2017 in Senate Estimates, Chief Scientist Alan Finkel was asked: "If the world was to reduce its carbon emissions by 1.3% - approx Aust's rate of emissions- what impact wld that make on the changing climate of the world? His response - the impact would be virtually nothing!

As I revealed on @news24 Outsiders, the Melbourne Islamic centre linked to the Omani hijacker received annual taxpayer-funded grants in the hundreds of thousands of dollars in recent years. Here are just two financial statements below showing govt grants as high as $834,211.

It's no laughing matter though that the poor taxpayers are the ones who fund the over-generous salaries of these rather useless HR Commissioners...

By constitutional convention, a government minister caught deliberately misleading the house is expected to resign from the executive. Meaning Albanese shouldn't be in a job. I expect you @AlboMP to front the cameras and resign by 9pm tonight. You are in clear breach. You need to go.

JUST EXPOSED: Albo told Parliament his $6m grant to the golf club in his own seat was to stop raw sewage flowing into the Cooks River. Overnight at Senate estimates, his own Infrastructure Department was asked if the project includes sewerage works. The answer: "It does not include sewerage works." What the FOI brief does list: a clubhouse refurb, bar and alfresco dining upgrades, a new pro shop, a dog walking station and stormwater to water the course. The sewer fix is being paid for by a separate $269,500 NSW Government grant. This is the same club where he held an undeclared honorary membership. The $6.05m came from an invite-only scheme with no competitive process. He also still owns his former family home about 200m from the club, now rented out. Bridget McKenzie says the PM misled parliament and must correct the record. Parliament was told sewage. The paperwork says bar upgrades. Follow @OsherFeldman for more. Kudos to Senator Henderson who skilfully interrogated Senator Green over the Journalism Assistance Fund. Accusing Labor of deliberately excluding conservative leaning outlets under the pretext of foreign ownership. Senator Green seemed unprepared and surprisingly gave the game away. Declaring it was not about free speech and nonchalantly stated ‘Rupert Murdoch is doing ok for himself.’ Talk about saying the quiet part out loud.

It's a good question and there is no easy one way answer. Multi pronged pproach. To start with A full clean out of Command that was in charge during COVID. Open interviews, through a similar style of hearings that police are forced to attend and answer questions on for high level crime and corruption ("I don't recall" is not allowed and refusal to answer can land them in jail). Public admission of wrong-doing and apology. Rehire all fired officers (that would even bother to come back) sacked for not taking the Vax, with back pay. Close many of the Command Structures that are not directly linked with operational support to the front line (some exclusions such as Homicide, Missing Persons, Organised Crime), and push as many police out onto the beat as possible, turning the force into a massive visible police presence. Zero tolerance towards violent criminals - every single one to be fronted for a bail hearing (no bail at stations); link in with media to saturate the news on Bail given by Magistrates to fuel the conversation, and anger to force politicians to change the law on weak bail laws for violent offenders. Change the process for Bail so that a single processing team can stay at the courts for all remand applications instead of the arresting officer (because this causes less police on the streets when they are tied up at the courts). Remove mandatory action requirements for family violence such as FVRs and intervention orders when the AFM doesn't want them. Police spend hours and hours doing paperwork and attending court, only for the IVO to be overturned at court because of "victims" unwilling to engage and not wanting police involvement. At some point you have to leave people to the consequences of their lack of action to take control of their lives, or let them find alternative pathways outside of "whack a mole" which is the only stick Victoria Police has for family violence. That would be a good starting point I think, just off the top of my head. But I would defer to the front line as well - they are best placed to know where the inefficiencies lie with their jobs, and how the community perceive them.

Having worked security in places where I got to see a lot of this stuff. 100% true. Police tell the right to move on because it's easier for them, because the right will, mostly, do as they're told, while the left will respond by escalating. The left deliberately exploit this

Former Police Officer for 16 years here - served in Victoria Police. 8 Years on the Front Line - many of those years working in the CBD, many times at the various protests that would occur at Parliament Steps, or surrounds. I can unequivocally say, as will many former cops who see this post - that The Left Wing Protest Groups were always far more violent and extreme in their protest behavior than any right wing motivated group. Every.Single.Time. It has only gotten worse, and just like police have lost control of crime on the streets, they have lost control of dealing with these violent thugs, so much so, that the police response now is to "Move on" the peaceful Right-Wing motivated groups and let the Left-Wing Extremists have at it. Shameful.

News24 host Steve Price has launched a scathing attack on Anthony Albanese, declaring that the Prime Minister “no longer deserves” to lead the nation. The fiery commentary followed what Price slammed as a “pathetic response” from the PM, who used “weasel words” to defend his office’s distribution of a political “dirt sheet” targeting Independent MP Helen Haines. The row erupted after it was revealed that Albanese’s taxpayer funded media team circulated a dossier listing over $1.8 billion in local funding requests made by Haines, an aggressive move widely seen as retaliation for her criticism of Labor's election grant programs. When cornered on the issue, Albanese refused to deny the document's existence and awkwardly claimed it was actually a “compliment” demonstrating that “people of integrity stand up for their electorate” With friends like Albanese, who needs enemies?

The Albanese government's Direction 110 - which so far this year has allowed 124 rapists, pedophiles, drug lords and other criminals to remain in Australia - is falling far short of community standards. Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke was asked about the matter in question time on Tuesday after The Australian revealed the case of a Congolese serial rapist who committed his worst offences against his then 13-year-old daughter after arriving in Australia as a refugee. The Administrative Review Tribunal has allowed the man to remain in Australia because of concerns for his wellbeing if he were deported to Nauru. •Despite The Australian's analysis finding that 124 of 227 visa cancellations to go before the ART this year had been overturned, Mr Burke said most visa cancellations made by his department under Direction 110 were upheld when appealed to the ART. The minister owes the public an explanation and a plan of action to rectify such failure. •After eight years in jail, the Congolese man was free in the community at the time of the ART’s decision. •His visa conditions control any opportunities he has for contact with children and teenagers, and he is subject to sex offenders legislation. In its ruling in March, the tribunal admitted his offending had “a devastating impact on both his daughters”. The girls, with no close relatives in Australia, were moved into state care. ART deputy president Damien O’Donovan said removing the man, JKWL, to Nauru would inflict “very grave” harm on him and might significantly shorten his life. JKWL’s history of psychiatric disorders would cause him to descend into psychotic delusion without support. JKWL is just one of several serious offenders who have won a reprieve under Direction 110, Will Seitam and Paul Garvey report. In January a New Zealander, YJJN, retained his visa despite the ART hearing he was a repeat and "sadistic" child abuse offender. •In July the tribunal overturned the cancellation of Liberian meth kingpin Sehwhy Nipoe's visa. •He was jailed by a Victorian court in 2019 for attempting to import nearly $900,000 worth of the drug. Other notable offenders the ART has sided with under Direction 110 include a *South Sudanese baseball bat assaulter, Mabor Ater Bol, who left his victim with permanent and catastrophic brain damage, and BCQR, who was involved in a mob ambush in which an 18-year-old was stabbed to death. theaustralian.com.au/comment…

Albanese lied about the $6M grant to the golf course in his electorate. It is grey corruption. The blatant vote buying and pork barrelling with taxpayer money causes the political temperature to rise. It has to stop or it will never come down. I just want Australia back.
