Americans truly believe they have a chance at anything. That’s a feature not a bug
Waffles his hanging in there. He turned 10 in April (allegedly) (also RUDE) and recently started meds for his heart.
Last week he demanded I explain why he was at the vet again (for bloodwork) when he'd already been to another in the AM (for a nail trim).
Also as an update, at the end of March we brought home Wally from a rescue.
He's 2 years old, a terrorist, and made Waffles his best friend even though Waffles was VERY SKEPTICAL.
All around good boy.
doing a charity bib guarantees me a spot but also commits to doing some good and given *gestures broadly* it seemed like a good idea even though i hate fundraising.
i signed up to do both the half marathon and the 10k because you get an *extra* medal if you do both and honestly worth it 😂 a couple years ago i managed to register for the 5k, 10k, and the half, but last year i only got the half - everything else sold out right away.
hi hello everyone - half marathon registration has gotten harder as more millennials choose distance running as their midlife crisis hobby so this year i opted to do some good - $2k for No Kid Hungry

I think most of the people who go there and have a bad time weren't around for OG Twitter where you had to build your TL and make friends yourself.
Also the other site has a lot of people now, and it's how Twitter used to be. No algorithm to ruin everything or push things on you, and you can actually meet and talk to new people.
In case you've forgotten about it/haven't used it in ages.
