this morning, I learned that the Uzi's that entered Haiti, and which the gangs were using to kill civilians and elected representatives, were shipped in from Israel by Gilbert Bigio. And frankly, I am still in shock. His control on that island had been only nominally reported.

I know this is hard to read, but it says Bigio's group bought the fuel marketing and jet fuel business of Chevron in Jamaica, which operated under the Texaco name there and in the Dominican Republic and St Maarten
I can't remember the last time I really cried, but reading this Miami Herald article about what the Haitian people endured at the hands of men like Gilbert Bigio, I feel like crying, I just don't have the breath to. But it's overwhelming how unfair this was, so many were killed.
