From the Flight Deck on 9-11
Preparing for Departure from London Gatwick on the morning of 9-11 as I programmed the Flight computers, completed systems tests, and with the clearances and checklist complete, little did I know that this Flight would be anything but routine…
As I approached 30* West the quiet Flight deck erupted with alerts from my satcom, comm1 and comm2, and ACARS messaging “The U.S.A. is under attack” !
This resulted in the immediate choreography of numerous Wide body Aircraft diversions off the North Atlantic Track in a non Radar environment.
Flights behind were to turn East toward England, all flights at 30*West continued Westbound.
Guiding my A-330 off the North Atlantic Track on course to Gander; however maximum capacity for the airport was already exceeded, with a quick check and updates on remaining airports and weather conditions I set course for Stephenville, Newfoundland
I safely guided my A-330 gently through the foggy morning, to a shimmering runway below the very low cloud deck and the most wonderful people I would come to know. 💝🎗️

🚨 WOW: A small plane lost its engine over North Fort Myers today and came down right on BUSY Bayshore Road, clipping the back of a pickup truck.
Two pilots were aboard the Cessna 172. Everyone walked away with ZERO injuries.
A driver who barely got out of the way told WGCU, "He can obviously fly pretty well."
That's what calm under pressure looks like.

🚨Wow, more data major red flags from the midterm numbers are developing:
The narrative that Republicans failed to turn out is false. The vote totals show Republicans performed right in line with their usual midterm participation and actually picked up additional support compared to the last midterm.
Rough House vote comparison:
Republicans
2022: 54.2 million
2026: roughly 55.6 million
Net increase: 1.4 million
Democrats
2022: 51.3 million
2026: roughly 70 million
Net increase: 19 million
Republican turnout stayed at typical midterm levels and edged higher. The idea that they stayed home is a complete lie and fabricated.
What stands out is the Democratic side: they added about 19 million more votes than in 2022, reaching numbers closer to a presidential election. The open question is where those extra votes came from and why were so many citizenship not verified.
And it's not in just one or two states. This is starting to show up in several states.
