11. Last but not least, @ShinyObjectSC. Shiny is the community that has helped onboard over 500 people into crypto/NFTs/metaverse and is poised for explosive growth in the next few months. Season 1 and $SHINY are dropping soon. Also, @tomosman is the GOAT of rocks.

We need to expand the way we think about employment. We often assume there is a binary choice between 1.) full-time employment or 2.) being self-employed. But that is a false and limiting dichotomy (a thread) 🧵 ...

3 things that gave me confidence to quit my corporate job and try to fly solo: 1. Talking to my wife about mental health 2. Agreeing a runway target together (6 months) 3. Testing whether I could get an interview somewhere else Hope this helps someone.

If DAOs enable the creation of more companies with a clearly defined value (“the token”) Will we have: - Each member putting in effort for a “fair” or equal share of the total value created - A more quantified articulation of the value they bring, directly defining their share

Do you have a great boss? I've had a few. • They looked out for me. • Checked I'm not overworking. • Got me that raise. I benefitted from just doing what they wanted. But they don't stay around forever. Get good at being your own boss now, before you have a crap one.
Two different games: Increasing the value of your time and getting someone to pay for it. Increasing the value of something you own with your time and getting someone to pay for it.
