Yes, Newcastle have had some really disappointing performances, and yes, there are things Jaissle desperately needs to improve.
But we’re eight Premier League games into a completely new era, sitting on 11 points and still in a healthy position in the table.
He’s working with a young squad, several new signings and a completely different tactical approach. That was never going to click overnight.
The victory over Crystal Palace showed what this team is capable of when the balance is right, and hopefully it’s something we can build on.
