"The Old Barn Still Stands" is a foot-stompin' country gospel celebration of an old barn down a red dirt road, where folks held church for years with hay bales for pews and a lantern on a nail. Grandpa played guitar, Mama sang the high part, and sinners got baptized in the creek out back. Storms tore through and took the fence, the silo, and the old oak, but the barn kept standing, just like the faith of the people who prayed there. The whole song shouts that the Rock they built on is never goanna shake.
