At 16, I dropped out of school to do circus work.
No, I didn't end up flipping burgers for a living.
Instead I:
👉🏻 Graduated from Columbia University
👉🏻 Launched 3 funded startups
👉🏻 Now coach entrepreneurs all over the world
Here is my guide for a happy unconventional life:
What the fax?! I guess faxing isn’t dead 🤷♂️ Use Dropbox Fax by @DropboxSign to send and receive faxes from anywhere. #DropboxFax hellofax.com
Whenever you feel jealous, it's not because someone else is happy.
It's because you know you're wasting time.
That ugly feeling in your gut? It's your soul begging you to stop playing small.
Sit down. Get quiet. Ask the questions you've been dodging.
Not: "What do I want?" But: "What am I here for? What is my soul's purpose?"
There is a part of you that already knows the answer.
Are you just scared to hear it?
Your writing is lame because you:
1. Don't believe in your own ideas
2. Lack a sense of purpose about why you are writing
3. Use ChatGPT instead of trusting your genius to guide you
If you had access to your inner wisdom your writing would be inspired instead of tired.
Day of Genius:
Morning is the best time to access your genius.
Afternoon is the best time to implement it.
Evening is the best time to feed it.
What happened to a Free Press? Respect to @AnnTelnaes for her decision to quit the Washington Post for censoring her work as a cartoonist:

Which religion is right?
This has been debated for over 10,000 years.
Instead of picking sides I spent an evening researching the SIMILARITIES between today’s popular religions:
1. They might have roots in psychedelic experiences
Only 20% of people love what they do.
The rest are wasting their lives.
Everything becomes a work of love when you act with
- Purpose
- Flow
- Joy
Don't be a loser. Access your genius and the universe will be there to guide you.
It's easier than you think.
Making the hard things fun is a skill.
It tells the universe you can use whatever it throws to keep improving.
My wife and I were flying back east to visit family when a tornado cancelled our connecting flight out of Chicago.
Its 1:32 am and I could be bent but instead I feel happy to have time to think and write.
Every moment is an opportunity for awakening if you are prepared.
I felt the urge to drink again this weekend.
I've been dry for two weeks.
Swapping a nice cold IPA with a kombucha was a real struggle.
But what's easy and attractive often makes us feel like crap later.
Struggle gives us a chance to act like the heroes of our own story.
What is happiness:
It's the space between your desires
It's making friends with your mind
It's peace with your thoughts
It's balancing work and love
It's very simple
and very hard.
Happiness is the paradox that makes everything else worthwhile.
Your thoughts are like a dopamine crazed monkey
- games
- netflix
- obligations
- distractions
- everyone telling you what to do
Your attention is your most precious resource.
Train your mind and your path becomes clear instead of getting lost in the jungle of anxiety.
