i wonder how patty would feel about vergil. she would resent him at first after dante told her abt their ordeal, bc how dare he to had hurted one of the most beloved person in patty's life? but dante would come to vergil's defense, telling her that "he had his own battles too."

dante would tell all those stories to patty while patty does his nails! patty had been practicing doing nail art for a while & she loved using dante's hands as practice dummy. dante found the nails a bit inconvenient for his job but he liked that it looks cute, esp the 🍓 design.

since there are no canon vergil appearance in dmc2 and dmc4, for dmc2 era i imagine vergil would still retain his nelo angelo skin but his body would've shrank to a normal size, he regained consciousness and some parts of his memory. he was very lost.

for dmc4 era he already gained full consciousness and memory, but his body began rotting, after being nelo angelo for so long, in which it's incredibly painful for him.
