Here's the expanded evacuation order covering 70 Mile House that took effect at 10 a.m.
The order now covers ~650 @TNRD properties. The number reflects all evacuation orders due to the Pear Lake fire and the Fiftynine Creek fire, which merged together.

Met the legendary Mark Smith, a.k.a. The Man in Seat 61 @seatsixtyone. Train nerds unite! Always good to swap stories with a fellow rail enthusiast.
Our neighbour's construction project of a house has this unsafe booby trap on the side of their house. It's going to be interesting seeing them bring the lawnmower around the front. Somehow, this passed Calgary inspection.
It's true. DELTA Doesn't Ever Leave The Airport. We sat on the tarmac for 45 minutes without a gate because the others weren't leaving. I should never have made that joke and got punished for it.
I just got invited on this trip with @rmountaineer. I'm really looking forward to it. #canadarail #rmountaineer #tripofalifetime #ccMF my blog will be live here: canadarail.ca/martins-moab-t…
The founder of Canada Rail, Martin, is embarking on a new adventure from Moab to Denver aboard @RockyMountaineer for the next few days, and we are excited to share it with you! Follow his adventure here: canadarail.ca/martins-moab-t…

I'm getting ready for 2023.
To celebrate the start of the 2023 @rmountaineer season, take a look back to last year when @martflan jumped on his bike for his annual race against the Rocky Mountaineer 🚵♂️
#MyBanff
I'm honoured that @banfflakelouise contacted me to film my 7th race against @rmountaineer. Great video work by @_SeanWillis. #banff #chasingrocky
In a story of man versus machine, Martin Flanagan (@martflan) has been racing his bike against the @rockymountaineer since 2016, with each ride dedicated to his late friend.
Come along for this year's edition of #ChasingRocky as he sets off from Vermilion Lakes 🚵♂️

After a great day exploring Denver, we're ready for tomorrow's train aboard the @rmountaineer from Denver to Glenwood Springs and Moab #rtr #rockiestoredrocks
Thank you to our guests and our staff for making this year a great one.
This Canadian Thanksgiving, we’ve been reflecting on how grateful we are for all our guests who travelled with us this year. Our team at Canada Rail Vacations thanks you again, words really cannot describe what this year has meant to us.

It's great to be back in San Francisco.
Today's the day! The FREE @HSBFest music festival returns to Golden Gate Park today through 10/2 at Hellman, Lindley and Marx meadows w/ more than 70 artists & six stages! Performers include Emmylou Harris, Marcus Mumford of Mumford & Sons, Elvis Costello & more!
Hint of the day in the National Parks, go west. It's a blue sky day at Emerald Lake. Photo taken at 11 am on September 14, 2022.
Great people to travel with.
Here's a nice review from Mary and Joe who just finished a train trip with Martin. m.facebook.com/story.php?sto…
