Ours is a story of struggle, sacrifice, progress and lessons still to be learnt. As we celebrate how far we’ve come, we look ahead to the work that remains. Democracy gives every eligible voter a voice in shaping their community’s future.
It’s a busy start to the morning for some Bryanston residents, who have come out early to cast their ballot in the 2026 Local Government Elections.
Some residents began arriving at Bryanston high school just before 6am.
Many of them say they will be voting for change in the City of Johannesburg. MT

If exposing Israel’s war crimes comes at the cost of AGOA benefits, then the debate must be about principle, not economic convenience.
And where is @afriforum?
They demand that the @USEmbassySA listen to farm murder at home while turning a blind eye to Palestians being killed by US weapons abroad.
They say that SAs foreign policy is reckless, but never go into the specifics.

The ANC government actually takes principled stances quite often. It's usually just terrible, costly principles.

🇿🇦❤️ MY SOUTH AFRICAN EXPERIENCE AN EXPERIENCE I WILL NEVER FORGET! 🇿🇦🇳🇬
Honestly, my stay in South Africa was nothing short of AMAZING! 😍🔥
From the moment I arrived, I experienced a beautiful country with so much to admire. The clean roads, automated systems, reliable clean water supply, and electricity that didn't go off even for one day during my stay left a lasting impression on me. 😳👏
Free Wi-Fi, impressive infrastructure, well-built stadiums, and a security system that made me feel safe were all part of the experience. But beyond the infrastructure, what touched my heart the most was the people! ❤️🇿🇦
The people of South Africa were lovely, welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. They made my stay even more special, and I am grateful for every moment, every smile, and every connection I made.
As a Nigerian, this journey gave me the opportunity to experience South Africa beyond what I had seen on social media. I came, I explored, I learned, I connected, and I created beautiful memories that I will cherish forever. 🇳🇬🤝🇿🇦
South Africa is truly a beautiful place, ! ❤️🌍
This journey was more than just the Soweto Derby; it was about culture, friendship, football, unity, and building bridges between Nigeria and South Africa. ⚽🤝
Thank you, South Africa, for the love and hospitality. Until we meet again! 🥹❤️🇿🇦
ANODA MIRAKLE was here, and the memories will live forever! 🔥 🇿🇦

Without the Boer/Afrikaan you'd all probably been extinct, presumably from HIV.
Just couple decades after being passed the reins of leadership your country as turned to another Sub-Saharan shithole.
