also one thing thatโs funny about being an actual leftist in the u.s is that there literally is no left ๐ญ with the two-party system your options are either far right or centre-right, but the average u.s citizen genuinely canโt understand this

Some hope for those that have been disappointed by Democrats since October 7th: during this election cycle, a majority of the democratic candidates that have won are pro Palestinian (or Palestinian themselves!) and have taken no AIPAC money! Little by little we make a difference

We live in an empire that has the luxury to have two political parties pretending to have drastic political economic differences, while in reality, they both support capitalism, imperialism, settler colonialism, war, dispossession, state-sanctioned death, and destruction.
I'm already seeing tweets blaming 3rd party voters for results they didn't want... brother I gotta get off this app ๐ญ not every independent/3rd party vote is centrist/left leaning and doesn't mean they would've voted blue, how many times do we need to go over this lmao
