We are at the table ready to land a fair deal that invests more in lower income workers & keeps kids in class. It's time for CUPE to take yes for an answer & cancel the strike.
 These kids have endured enough of these strikes. 2,246 days out of class to be precise, since 1989.

Last, but not least was the Bouncy Coaster! Physics concepts here include conservation of energy, and projectile motion. Can you get the ball to roll off the ramp, bounce off a stool, and into the hoop?

Although I only won 2 of the 5 challenges, we all had a great day. On a day where students would normally be stressing over an exam, we were laughing with each other and having fun. The physics guides were super detailed and was this project was a showcase of their learning!

Grade 9 @ISTEM_HDSB students have designed fins and are now getting cut on on our @TrotecCanada laser cutter! Awesome to see a sketch become a vector file in @Adobe #illustrator and now laser cut!

We taped a #GoPro to an @ISTEM_HDSB bottle rocket today and it made my week. *No GoPros were injured while making this video. Shout out to @realJ_Mitchell & @math_henry123 for making school so fun!
