credit to Mobasheera for the original open-source app and the community for documenting the IR codes.
ended up calling mine Leaf IR Remote. no ads, no tracking, no internet permission.
also sent the LED fix upstream so the original app can benefit too

got my dad a realme gt 7t, noticed the IR blaster and thought i'd make a remote for our atomberg fans
someone already built one lol, but LED didn't work. the NEC code needed 32-bit reversal, not byte swapping
fixed it, tested it, shipped a 28 KB apk :p

gave my first talk at #IndiaFOSS2026 on SocketSweep. solved a rubik's cube live on stage to show what 10 seconds feels like before the demo
turns out the solve was ~7 seconds lol. hands beat the phone :p

looking for my next software engineering opportunity.
built SocketSweep to bypass Android's awful MTP experience, using a native C++ daemon, ADB, TCP and Rust. it can index 100GB+ in seconds and is now at 100+ GitHub stars.
if you're hiring, let's talk.
built this because MTP experience was driving me insane, so i decided to bypass it entirely
SocketSweep now has 105⭐ on GitHub
apparently @tryflexprice wants people who build weird stuff instead of waiting to be told what to do, so here i am👀@manish_fp @sudeepsd_ @devayush__
