Earlier this week, our dear brother Samuel Sey @SlowToWrite was en route to appear on our podcast when he got detained by ICE. Samuel is from Canada, and has been living here as a legal resident of the United States. We are confident this clerical mistake will be fixed, but this has been a terrible experience for his family.
Please consider supporting his lovely wife Annie and their three small children as they deal with the legal and living expenses of this terrible ordeal.

This time we're dealing with "mental health issues" 🫤 FLM..
2026 has been one of.. if not the most stressful year of my life... (Shit happens right?) 🤷♂️
My mothers is as mentally UNWELL.. as she is physically.. unwell.
Her brain is almost as wrecked as the X algorithm is...

Please pray for Samuel Sey (@SlowToWrite) and his wife, Annie, and their kids. I feel especially for Annie and the kids. They deserve so much better. They shouldn’t have to wonder when their daddy and husband will be able to come home.
I know I differ with many conservatives on immigration. I am all for cracking down on criminals; particularly violent and sexual predators. Absolutely, kick them out.
But there are a lot of genuinely sweet people who just want a better life for themselves and their kids.
And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Yes, they should immigrate legally. But even legal immigration in our country is a convoluted, expensive, and lengthy process. Mistakes happen. Corners get cut in desperation.
We need to simplify it.
We need to open the door for hard working, honest, family-folks like Samuel, while keeping out malevolent threats.
This shouldn’t be complicated.
People are making it complicated.
