September AI trades realized P&L at $591k ⦿ Continued tech / semi optimism: $META announced Muse $AMD valued $1T Fear about humanity annihilation by AI ⦿ Today, hot earnings guidance from memory leader $MU. 🚀 As a '80s kid, I traded Star Wars cards. Never "liquidated"

thanks Jose - it was a fun month of scaling into winners. As a swing trader I also have positions in the red, but the ability to size into trades progressively is something to refine. News and sentiment is what drives price action. Are traders separating out froth from value?

Vegas traders: Toros contra osos 𓄀 / 🐻‍❄️ྀིྀི Late night excursion onto the strip and discovered the slow and lowrider classic car supershow off in a side street lot. More fun than watching unhinged sportsbook gamblers and inebriated patrons prance across the Venetian floors.

Fuming over my lack of self discipline while jumping in volatile 🔥 $RETO for -47% loss. Lesson learned: focus on trading. While I exited at $5, it has since burned to ground at 20 cents. Today made up that $49 loss after sizing into memory for $1k realized / $392k unrealized

What's on my household refrigerator calendar? Earnings of course. Nothing beats groceries, recipes, or mundane real world activities away from the trading floor. $PLTR guidance deserves accolades. So the bell awaits AMD up next... No need to wait for moon alignment.

Guess that aged well. Wrapped up August. Trying to make ends meet while working a 9-5. Still have several open long positions in the semis and memory trades. Saw that spectacular spike toward final hour on $SNDK. Weak hands? not me.

Where's "The Situation" when we need Leopold the most? There to giveth his sacrificial holdings over to Citadel. Bought SNDK around $1000 yesterday. I think holding is probably a wise swing with $900k today, unrealized. Keep an eye on AMD's transformation reuters.com/technology/citad…

News about US intervening over the Yen. That photo above was intentional with the 5000円 bill. In my experinece got some extremely good exchange rates with low margin in Shinjuku (161円 for 1USD). Tokyo konbini ATMs were the worst. cnbc.com/2026/08/03/japan-ye…

At SMB Trading Summit 2026, @TheOneLanceB presented "How I Saved the Japanese Market". I met Lance briefly after the conference for inspiration on peak panic trade. When in Japan, Lance, please open their market at Tokyo Stock Exchange ( 東京証券取引所 ) jpx.co.jp

Once inside the Tokyo Stock Exchange, I toured through the interesting times of early traders. Candlesticks, yeah, doji, check, invented in Japan by a rice trader. Transformation from paper certificates to all computers. Watching real time trades across Japan and Nikkei!

"Red day" for trading. In Japan, red culturally is auspicious 🔴 Late night went to Marunaka grocery store, saw friendly neurotoxic Fugu ふぐ fish to eat. But first opened trades. Bernstein lifted price $SNDK target to $3000. Woke up on tatami "trading" floor with $82k profit.

Chasing price still late night before market open rebound on semiconductor stocks. Cruised to skyrise Tokyo condo to setup trading desk after shinkansen bullet train ride from Kyoto. Happy to meet traders in Tokyo to talk markets and share some kanpai 乾杯 time.

Got a ride around during the daytime for leisurely Tokyo drifting on the city highways. The curves and bridges are amazing. For some old school ramen buying. This is about as difficult as stock selection. Look at that ramen ticket machine for order entry.

explored Namba district of Osaka. Many similarities of trading: The long escalator down looks like a short seller paradise. Packet market like post PDT with amateur traders. FX station to entice unregulated exchanges. Kaiten sushi for value investors watching for dips🍣

Previous post was a forewarning about memory chip volatility. Markets rejected SanDisk price in the $2000s down to $1700s. Heard Korea has some KOSPI index based mainly on Samsung and SK Hynix. Flew to Seoul today to get a feel for this city with its rich hsistory and culture.

Sunday got to act like a kid again and enjoy Lotte world in Seoul with all the rides and long lines. Massive area for an urban setting. The Gyro drop ride from 70 meters up was my scariest. Reminded me of SanDisk from last week and now again. lotteworld.com/

Morning open in Korea for Monday. Despite no language skills the financial news was obvious from my hotel room TV. The US dollar vs Korean won is strongest since 2009. Look at those traders. Red bars mean price action up and teal is down, confusing at first.
