Waited a few days to share so I wouldn’t spoil the fun! 😊
I was doing the July 17th @NYTimes Crossword and spotted a familiar clue: “Which Google smartphone feature edits the photographer into the group shot?” 📸🧩
(Yes, the whole Pixel team is geeking out right now)

Wonder what goes down in a @MadebyGoogle Pixel lab? We’re giving you a behind-the-scenes peek at how we test our phones for reliability. Let’s go ⬇️
We use this machine to simulate a Pixel getting tossed around inside a bag. From there, our team checks for abrasions while adding or removing things you may find in your Pixel rubbing up against, like hand sanitizer, a pen or keys.
ALT A red industrial tumble tester simulates everyday wear and tear by rotating a Pixel phone and loose objects like keys and a pen within a transparent drum.

What an incredible day at #MadeByGoogle! So great to be here in person and feel the excitement for everything our teams have built. The new Pixel phones are a huge milestone, marking a new era of personalization for Android with Material 3 Expressive and bringing a ton of awesome new AI-powered features. It’s a testament to the hard work that went into bringing these to life. Congrats to everyone involved! blog.google/products/pixel/m…

Stephen Curry 🤝 Google.
As an avid Warriors fan, thrilled to welcome @StephenCurry30 as Google’s new Performance Advisor! Stephen is bringing his expertise to help us build products for everyone - and also find unique ways that he can use them to improve his game. 🏀
For example, Stephen is using Pixel to sharpen his workout strategy and continue to develop as an incredible player. He’s also using AI insights from Google Cloud to help analyze his shot quality (not that he needs much help there!). Excited for the future of this partnership!
