PSA: in light of recent cyberattacks and vulnerabilities, I recommend everyone:
* use a good password manager (1Password) and do not duplicate passwords
* use two factor auth for everything important (not via sms!! Google Authenticator or better yet YubiKey)
* Auto-updates on, and restart weekly so they actually install
* Freeze your credit
* Get an IRS Identity Protection PIN
* Get your cell carrier to give you a port-out PIN or number lock that makes the carrier refuse to move your number without the PIN
You can ask your claude code to audit what on your laptop is out of date and needs updating.

Nathan Fielder is on the cover of WIRED, and the funniest part of the interview is that the reporter seems to have missed the entire point of his movie.
'You Can See Everything' isn't really about whether Elizabeth Holmes is a liar. It's about how easily YOU can be manipulated into believing someone is a liar, a victim, a villain, or a hero depending on how their story is told.
And here we have the interviewer doing exactly what the movie is warning us about.

Because of the conduct of @TexasGOP and @gop, and that of their surrogates, I am announcing for the first time something I've never done, especially as a straight-ticket Republican voter and three-time Trump voter.
As a protest for their failures and bad-faith conduct, I fully endorse @jamestalarico and will vote for him during the midterms.

🚨 BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: Ohio mental hospital CONFIRMS James Talarico was discharged from the facility earlier this week
The “flu” thing was a BIG FAT LIE
Following reporting by @SaraGonzalesTX and @CarolineWren, a hospital employee told @RheinAmacher and I that Talarico had in fact been a patient at the Lindner Center of Hope near Cincinnati, Ohio, which specializes in around-the-clock mental health treatment.
While I sympathize with those dealing with mental health crises, this man is CLEARLY not suited to become a US Senator representing over 30 MILLION TEXANS.
The job doesn’t get easier after being elected — it only gets MORE stressful.
And Talarico clearly can’t handle it.
I pray he gets the help he needs, but Texans need a real representative they can rely on.
