with the news today, it seems injuries on both sides will be a big story this weekend
Stopping Malachi Toney will be difficult but we got the right man to do it @LeonardKevMoore @mikegolicjr @jessica_smetana

OH MY
After undergoing further testing, Miami star wide receiver Malachi Toney is currently expected to undergo surgery due to the ankle injury he suffered today during practice, sources tell @CBSSports. The current belief is that it’s not a season-ending injury, per sources.

Well this is an interesting wrinkle
NEWS: Miami star Malachi Toney is dealing with an injured ankle and his status for Saturday’s game against Notre Dame is uncertain, sources tell me and @max_olson. Toney is expected to press and attempt to play, given the magnitude of the game.

Criticize the schedule all you want. That’s fine. We’ll of course admit it’s a weak schedule overall. In 8 games, though, we have played 6 P4 teams and 2 G6 teams. And actually, there are no non-P4 teams left on the schedule. But yeah it’s “G6”
NOTRE DAME BEING #11 IS A BEAUTIFUL THING TO SEE. Justice for the G6 schedule they've played. It is what it is.

My two main thoughts: -The committee members clearly don’t watch the games. -I’m genuinely surprised they didn’t put us in the Top 10 for ratings’ sake

Delighted by Notre Dame’s ranking. 1. The stakes on Saturday are abundantly clear. 2. Win or lose, Notre Dame fans won’t have to be bother with that dog and pony show and Hunter Yurachek’s ridiculous explanations the rest of the season.

Well, the message is clear: The committee loves the SEC and hates everyone else.

Notre Dame will give wristbands to fans on Saturday that will use a technology never used before at a college football game. LED wristbands can spell out words and pictures. The band will honor Lou Holtz at halftime and former captains under Holtz will present the flag.
