Some stats on #php2shell. In the 10 hours before it was publicly announced, across the @Cloudflare network we saw thousands of attempts to exploit it. That jumped to tens of thousands in the 45 minutes post announcement, hundreds of thousands within 2 hours, and millions now.

That’s weird…it’s almost like not banning TikTok has had real world consequences as the US population continues being poisoned by CCP propaganda. Who woulda guessed?!

You can now set Claude Code's output style to Concise.
Claude leads with the result, keeps responses short, and still gives full detail when you ask.
Turn it on in /config → Output style, or set "outputStyle": "Concise" in settings.json.

I love and hate prepping someone for a deposition.
To make them understand how a deposition works, the first question I ask is, “Do you know what time it is?”
Nearly every single time, the person will either check his or her watch, or look up at a clock. Then, they will say “Yes, it is 10:30.”
At this point I just smile and shake my head. “No.” Then, I explain why their answer is wrong:
I asked if they knew the time. Not what time it was currently.
Me: “So what would your answer be then?”
Witness: “Yes.”
Me: “Wrong.”
They didn’t know the time, because they had to look at a watch or clock.
If you are ever deposed and do not have a bitch like me prepping you, remember this key: Listen to the question and answer only what is asked. And only what you actually know or recall.
No charge for this advice.

A 10-15 hr/week position with the chance to grow (if demonstrated and hungry):
My newsletter, Ultra Successful will be looking for a new editor!
We have a smooth, efficient operation and this is a 10-15hr/week job.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
- Highly organized & detail oriented
- Some editorial experience (my tenses will frustrate you..but our audience deserves the corrections!)
- Mission Driven - you believe strongly in what we’re doing
- Canva knowledge - or willingness to self-teach
- Can create graphics
- Can collaborate and take/give feedback
- Can operate independently without supervision & be reliable for outcomes. We run a tight ship that has timelines.
If you want to be a part of a growing & successful newsletter, and feel you are or want to become the best at what you do…and heck, even if you bring *other* skills to the table along with these, I’d be excited to hear more.
This is a fully remote position anywhere in the world. My current editor lives in the UK.
I will only reach back out if you get to a conversation…and receive applications personally at [email protected]
Tell me/show me why you’re the best person for this role, what you’ve done previously, and how you meet these criteria (and beyond if that’s the case), and can provide value.
It's a good foot in the door with a chance to expand. I have a great small team who loves what they do - you should too.

Just worked w/ @CNN on a piece about why I wouldn't upload full financial docs (tax docs, statements, etc) to AI tools due to leakage & hacking risk.
I don't recommend connecting bank accounts to AI tools. It becomes a 1 stop shop for attackers looking to drain your accounts🤖💸

Massive comms failure here
The board’s goals were:
— Preserve their own legitimacy
— Stop an employee mutiny
But what they wrote accomplished the opposite:
1. “The board firmly stands by its decision…” is immediately defensive and weak, and their “standing by” would only be relevant if credibility already existed
2 “Sam’s behavior and lack of transparency…” is a serious accusation without any receipts. No examples, no details
3. “This was not about any singular incident” again sounds like it could be a trumped up excuse to fire someone for political reasons
4. “The board…the board…the board…” they constantly reference themselves in the third person. Feels like a faceless bureaucratic blob got its feelings hurt. Bad for trust
5. “Despite rumors to the contrary, Sam will not return as CEO” is basically a timebomb to destroy any remaining shreds of credibility two days later
6. Lawyer tone throughout. “We know this has been difficult…” and “it is paramount…” have no chance against emotional appeals, lowercase earnestness, heart emojis etc.
