How it works:
1. Sort the words, longest first
2. Try every spot where the next word shares a letter with the grid (red = doesn't fit)
3. Score each spot by its crossings; take the best
4. Repeat 30 times; keep the grid with the most words

2010, Steve Jobs on touchscreen Macs: "your arm wants to fall off"
2026: Apple ships one
So I made the touchscreen Mac we'd have gotten in 1984 👇

Yesterday: the 3D Pac-Man that got me my first game dev job.
But it wasn't enough. Gameloft sent an "additional test".
Cars, Bullet physics, burning barrels. C++, 2011.
Here it is on my Mac, 15 years later.
They hired me anyway.
Show me your first test task 👇
This 3D Pac-Man got me my first game dev job.
Gameloft test task, 2011. C++, Irrlicht, Visual C++ 2008.
15 years later I rebuilt it on my Mac and found a bug: the snow I listed under "additional features" has alpha 0. Invisible the whole time ❄️
What was your first test task?

My first serious game was Tetris in Pascal for MS-DOS.
What was the first thing YOU built? Language + project 👇 Let's connect 👋
Race weekend 🏁
If watching isn’t enough, here’s a lap you can actually drive. No pit wall, no team orders. Just you and a ghost of your best lap 🏎️
It’s half price right now 💰

What if we had Claude Code for Windows 3.1? 🔊
Dial-up to the model. Models on 7 floppies. "Not enough memory to start Subagent 4."
And it still finds a clever way to save 2 bytes.
My first programming language was QuickBASIC on MS-DOS.
The coolest thing I made back then: green Matrix rain in the terminal.
So I rebuilt it in Go with Claude for 2026 👇
What was YOUR first programming language? Drop it below; let's connect 🤝
Parents abroad: how do you keep up with school chats in a language you're still learning?
I built a bot for it: 47 Spanish messages → 1 Ukrainian digest, every evening.
Right now it's just for me. Should I keep going and turn it into a real product?
Something I built at the start of the year and never shared.
I wanted Grammarly in my terminal, running on my own OpenAI or Claude key. So I made grammr.
Would you use this? Worth working on, or should it stay a personal tool?

Сouchmode 🛋️ 📺 is submitted to the Amazon hackathon, a week before the deadline. The agent runs on your laptop; the TV shows its work; you approve from the couch. Open source 💾

Saw the flying @Tesla Roadster. Gave it a go on lap one 🚀
Rocket pack not in the game. The flying laps are.

Cut the price of my game in half.
Next day: one sale. From the UK 🇬🇧
Statistically meaningless. Emotionally huge 😅
Indie devs: Has lowering the price ever actually moved the numbers for you?

Didn’t win #Shipaton 🏁
No regrets. When I started, this account had 36 followers. Today it’s 245, and more importantly, I met some genuinely great people along the way.
Shipped a game, a browser build, and a watch build nobody asked for. Learned more about building in public than in years of not doing it.
Thanks @RevenueCat for running it, and congrats to the winners 🎉
