I've told other designers that these should feel like a playground, not a portfolio, and nothing I made felt playful enough. Decided that it was finally time to follow my own advice. Your Slack group DMs can now include Claude. Add it the same way you'd add anyone else. Claude answers in a thread and keeps following it, so anyone in the DM can reply there and reach it. It can also use the personal connectors of whoever asks.

Fun fact: We actually built our AI emoji picker @dubdotco with Jev at first, but since we had to feed the entire emoji catalog into Jev, it consumed a lot of input tokens. Refactored to a simple vector index on @upstash vector, and costs became nearly negligible 🤯 Just shipped this to prod – h/t @pedrooladeira 👏

Linear is next level: they integrated Jev into the emoji picker already and it’s AMAZING (This is response on a thread on how Google Docs’ emoji picker has been the same unusable mess for ~20 years; the ✅ icon still unfindable on my free and paid accounts)
