The 29th Conference of the Parties (COP 29) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change will take place from Nov 11-22. Participating countries will present their national climate action plans to limit global warming to 1.5° C above pre-industrial levels.
We can encourage U.S. representatives at COP 29 to prioritize the needs of vulnerable populations, increasing funding for global adaptation and mitigation efforts, and committing to radically reduce U.S. carbon emissions.
