Adult female human. That is all there is to being a woman. No drugs, surgeries, identity, doctors, behavior, make-up required.

If the "trans gun" detail hadn't come out in U.S. Department of Justice filings, I can almost guarantee you that the RCMP never, ever would have told us.
This message hits different when you remember we're still only eight months out from a trans-identified male murdering children at a BC school using a gun decorated with trans flags.

This is an interesting (and hyperbolic) message from someone who hides comments and blocks when the narrative is lost. I don’t know who sent the pamphlets. There is no reason to believe a random letter put any child in danger (that message comes from the group that screams genocide when you accurately sex them). But what I do know is that not a single gender ideologist worked up over the distribution of these pamphlets objects to anything written in them. That is cognitive dissonance at work.

So you disagree with what the pamphlets say?

You heard it from Koda. Rights are more important than feelings. And therefore since gender ideology is based on feelings… women should not have to give up their sex based spaces for TIMs.
Yes they are, anyone's rights are more important than anyone's feelings.

Blocked because the campaign to invade sex based spaces is more important than the victims it creates. Nobody wants to argue for Adam Laboucan while he sits in Women’s prison and enjoys privileges he should never have had.

Claiming a "gender non-conforming" male is no longer a male is not "challenging stereotypes", it is saying that stereotypes are more real than biology. The idea that gender overwrites reality is not "gender non-conforming", it is extremist gender conformity.

🧵BC SOGI boosters are making the rounds saying SOGI is just a collection of anti-bullying resources. But in 2023 @sd61schools in Victoria BC brought in consultant Mischa Oak--billed as a "Leader in SOGI Education"--to do a presentation to counter SOGI "misinformation". A representative from the school district and the ARC Foundation (which developed and administers SOGI) introduced the talk, then nodded along. Mr. Oak didn't talk about bullying, it was almost entirely about gender ideology. Credit to @Lord_grimz for all these videos. 🧵 Please bear in mind: this is them trying to be as normal as possible to allay concerns. First up, he explained that gender identity is ancient Indigenous wisdom (which of the 5 traditional Indigenous gender identities are you??) 1/15

Your holocaust analogy is terrible. It's genuinely offensive to compare camps that were explicitly for slavery and mass murder with boarding schools that had some shitty conditions and resultant mortality. Saying that it's fine to make up stories of kids being murdered, and it's racist to question it, because other kids died of totally unrelated causes, is just really bad logic. If you wonder why there is so many people now don't believe anything bad happened at residential schools, this is a huge reason. The genuine abuse, poor conditions, loss of culture, family breakdown, is being sold as a package deal with the lies about murdered kids at Kamloops and other schools. It's a huge mistake. It's at the root of so much division and racism. If we are going to have actual truth and reconciliation, your side needs to stop telling everyone they need to go along with a lies. Until you guys stop doing that, or are sidelined, we can’t move forward.

I cannot reply as the human rights commission cannot defend their misrepresentation. “If you mean sexual orientation, say that. Title IX still bans sex discrimination. Targeting a student for being gay can already be treated as sex discrimination. The vacated 2024 rule’s real change was treating gender identity as sex for sports, bathrooms, and housing. That is a different argument. HRC still has not shown that today’s paperwork filing newly “allows” either one.”
They claimed it allows it. Did they lie? Is it good that said discrimination is allowed?

The UBC study is observational, not proof. It found associations with some lower bullying reports in schools that ran SOGI longer but LGBQ+ kids still face far higher rates, results weren’t uniform, and province-wide trends were mixed. “Proven safer for everyone” overstates it.
The right decision is to take a stand to support vulnerable kids in schools. SOGI is proven to make schools safer for everyone. Voters should vote for inclusive education and human rights not a politics of fear and division. And the NDP should restore funding and full support

My thoughts on SOGI: Gender identity is a politically-crafted concept that was embedded into Canadian law without a coherent definition and without anyone understanding the far-reaching consequences. There is no evidence to support the existence of gender identities. The concept is unfalsifiable and lacking any objective measures or empirical tests. It is dangerous to teach impressionable children that pseudoscientific political concepts are established scientific facts. Teaching children and adolescents that they possess a gender identity and it is that which determines whether they are boys or girls sows confusion during a crucial stage of identity development. The most vulnerable will misinterpret their gender-nonconformity or the normal struggles of growing up as a sign they possess a mismatched gender identity. This leads some confused youth to the wrong conclusion that they are transgender. Then, also because of SOGI in our schools, teachers affirm this confusion and allow a change of name and pronouns, sometimes, criminally, without parental consent or knowledge. When the transgender identity has solidified in the young person’s mind as a result of this culture of affirmation and celebration, the next step is the gender clinic, where doctors who have lost their moral and ethical compass perform drastic and irreversible medical interventions that have no scientific justification or grounding in evidence. It is a catastrophic safeguarding failure that this political ideology was ever allowed in our schools. Protecting children means removing every last remnant of it from our education systems.
BC Conservative leader Lorne Doerkson pledges back to basics in schools: "I think that SOGI has to be removed...I think the province needs to get back to teaching arithmetic and reading"

Quite right. Nobody gets to decide who is a woman. It isn't a choice. You are either an adult human female or an adult human male. An adult human male is a man. Adult human men (or boys) cannot 'become' women. An adult human female is a woman. Adult human women (or girls) cannot 'become' men. Let's drop the 'trans' bullshit. We are either male (man) or female (woman). Skip the semantics. And Rowling is correct. Amnesty nor any other bunch of people get to give away women's rights to men. There's a discussion to be had about those who 'feel' something else. Doesn't change their sex. Doesn't change their rights. Especially when a number of them are fetishist in nature. Glad you cleared that up.

“Presents fully as a man” + regular periods + banned from every toilet + sexual harassment claim + women are “homophobes.” That’s a lot of load-bearing clauses for an anonymous post. Possible? Uncommon on proper T. Convenient? Extremely. And if it is true: she chose the medical and social route. Living with a female body in male clothes is not something other women owe her a workaround for.
This is the world that the appalling JK Rowling has helped to create. Shame on her and all the gormless TERFs who emulate her hateful antics.

My position is that gender dysphoria is a real, painful condition and that for some adults, the only way they may feel able to resolve that inner conflict is transition. If that’s the road they choose I wish them long life and happiness and I would vigorously oppose any discrimination against them when it comes to employment, housing or voting rights. I do not believe children have the capacity to consent to treatments that may leave them infertile and, in some cases, anorgasmic. Multiple studies have shown that gender dysphoria in childhood and adolescence is not uncommon, for gay kids particularly, but it also occurs in, for example, straight girls who hate the idea of becoming women and sometimes, tragically, in children who’ve been abused. The available evidence shows that in the majority of cases, gender dysphoria resolves after the person has gone through adolescence. I am strongly opposed to the experimental treatment of blocking puberty in dysphoric children. I believe trans activists have behaved hugely unethically and irresponsibly in pretending that there is good evidence that these treatments are beneficial (there isn’t), that puberty blockers are completely reversible (there is a mounting body of evidence to suggest they aren’t) or that children are likely to kill themselves if denied blockers (there is no evidence to support this and suicide prevention charities warn against making such statements, due to the very real danger of suicide contagion.) Of course, not all trans-identified people are dysphoric. Erotic transvestism, also known as autogynephilia, (getting a sexual thrill out of dressing as/pretending to be a woman) has been around for a very long time. I believe lesbians are entitled to exclude straight, cross-dressing men from their dating pools without being accused of bigotry and worse (same goes for gay men with trans-identified women). It’s profoundly homophobic to attack gay people for being same-sex attracted. I don’t believe anyone, adult or child, is ‘born in the wrong body.’ That is an unfalsifiable, quasi-religious belief. A person may *feel* as if they’re in the wrong body, but humans cannot literally change sex. However they identify, men don’t belong in the single-sex spaces for which women fought so hard.

It's so unlike trans activists to misrepresent opponents' arguments! I'm shocked, I tell you. SHOCKED! Since you've innocently misunderstood the point, let me spell out the obvious even more clearly. Let's take as an example a woman with MRKH syndrome, who was born with a congenital abnormality: an absent or undeveloped uterus. Notwithstanding that anomaly, she has a reproductive system organised around producing eggs instead of sperm, so she is unambiguously female. No male can have MRKH syndrome; one might even say that MRKH syndrome represents conclusive proof that the individual born with it is female. I myself was born with a congenital abnormality: a bleeding disorder. I don't consider myself less human because of it, but my blood is demonstrably defective. That still doesn't make me a brand new type of human being, nor does it mean an inability to clot should be considered a standard trait of all human beings. It's my good fortune that there's no anti-science ideological movement currently trying to hijack bleeding disorders for its own ends. Should that ever happen, though, I can promise you I'll fight to the bitter end not to have my medical history reduced to a glib and ignorant talking point, as gender identity ideologues insist on doing to men and women with DSDs.

If one trans women plays female sport, who does that even affect anyway? Apart from - the woman who loses her place to her, the rest of the team who have to get changed in front of her, and every woman playing on every other team who risks being injured by her - Literally no one.
