My piece at Swarajya on who actually owns the brains behind India's Automotive industry. This is blowing up, and I am learning from the responses as well! Keep 'em coming. @amargov @astrokaran
Several years ago, engineers at a major Indian OEM wanted to add a simple valve to their own engine. They knew how to do it. The problem: the software running inside their own vehicle's ECU was locked. The key was in Germany. Three years later, the problem remained unsolved. 🧵

Sai Pallavi apparently reproaches Lakshmana for punishing Surpanakha saying 'aurat should be respected'. Can anyone confirm?
Dear bollywood fanboys and fangirls, you need to understand that irritating the customer isnt a good idea in any business. The rumblings about #Ramayana casting were there for years but they chose to ignore it . Well, let them face the music now. Don't cry about 'mean RW'.

Yeah as Ramayana, the Nitesh Tiwari take, is clearly one of the worst versions ever made from most normal people review, we can declare it a massive FLOP. Is it still Sai Pallavi though or the tinkering they did with Valmiki Ramayana to blame?
Everyone is of course boycotting Nitesh Tiwari's #Ramayana . What's your reason? Reply with any other reason that I missed.

Unacceptable.
Surpanakha was shown as a victim in Namit's #Ramayana. When Surpanakha nose was cut by Laxmana. Sita: "tumne aaisa kyun kiya wo rakshas thi lekin aurat thi , aurton ka samman kro " Laxmana was made to look like a fool.. MC BC Nitesh.

In this case Europe lacks 'basic amenities'. India offers services nobody else does, to lower middle class population at the lowest prices in the world. There are better things to criticize dude.
I love how people mistake basic amenities on a train for world-class facilities.

"South Asian" means as much as "north Asian" does. Basically a nothing term, and often a negative term. Let me explain. "Indian" refers to different things as per context. Talk history and its the Indic civilization stretching from Afghanistan to Cambodia and Indonesia. Hence "Indo China", "Indo Pacific", "East Indies" and so on. Not "South Asia China", "South Asia pacific" anr so on. See how ridiculous everything associated with "South Asia" sounds? Then there's food. It is a legitimate blanket term for all foods in the region I said except for where regional cuisines have branched out with something truly marketable, like the Thai, increasingly Burmese, so on. Eventually you will see Bengali, Tamil, Gujarati, Mallu and other cuisines all getting known by their own right world over. "South Asian cuisine" 😂 .... sorry had to take a two minute laughing break there. Cultural and Aesthetic things - same deal. Everything hindu is Indian culture. Everything else is Persian, Arabian, Chinese and so on. Nothing, not-a-thing is "South Asian". Political ? Easy, there's India. There is no South Asia boundary. I do understand there are several very embarrassing identities in India's immediate neighborhood but you need to find a different way to whitewash it. This term doesn't stick.
Sorry, but the term south Asian actually makes a lot more sense than Indian. India is a national construct, composed of dozens of ethnic groups and linguistic groups many of those groups stretch across Nepal, Pakistan Bangladesh, etc.

Sania Mirza and Mahesh Bhupati boycotted Bangalore Open many years ago when I used to read every piece of tennis news. Paes is king, sorry. These people are not who I follow. You can NOT boycott an India tournament like that.
Sania Mirza was a good tennis player in India but then she married Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik. Sania Mirza was not in India for some time but has now returned to India after her divorce from Shoaib Malik. As soon as Sania Mirza arrived, she got a Diwali gift and...1/2

Err.. I can take a gander at the reason
Replying to @ZaidJilani
So for some reason, it’s not offensive to say that Gujaratis and Biharis have a similar culture but it’s super offensive to say that Indians in Pakistani have a similar culture.

Anyone who joins Chinese cause for Chinese funds is a Chinese agent, whether from north east or a famous newspaper from Chennai down south. We don't care where you're from. Hope that clears it up.
A citizen from Arunachal Pradesh being called Chinese by a fellow countryman is the reason why the Chinese government calls Arunachal Pradesh ‘South Tibet’.Please do not give the Chinese an opportunity to spread propaganda.

These scumbags spend all day and all night dreaming of chaos, riots and killings on Indian streets. That's why tolerance for any street protests is now zero.
We had this when PNB scam happened.. And we didn't even flinch. Indians are truly living like Cockroaches...

Those Human Rights shops are sleeping very soundly. No one calls to wake them up. No one. Let them sleep, their every selective outrage comes with a price tag. They will never listen to the cries of those seeking justice.
