• District Additional Assistance (DAA) Override — funding for capital needs like textbooks, technology, transportation and furniture.
• Bond — money a district borrows (and repays over time) for big projects like building or repairing schools.
• Site Sale — the sale of district-owned property, which can require voter approval.

Superintendent Boggs joined state legislators, law enforcement, school board members, educators, and parents today for a School Safety Roundtable on one question: how do we keep Arizona students safe in the classroom?
The conversation ranged from panic-button interoperability and Arizona's School Safety Program, which now funds 544 officers and 526 counselors and social workers statewide, to clearer reporting duties for school leaders and better communication with families. Parents impacted by school violence shared their stories, and the room listened.
Superintendent Boggs told the group that school safety is the first priority when she fills vacant governing board seats, because students cannot learn if they are not safe. And no single bill, program, or agency will solve this. It takes everyone at the table working together.
Thank you to Senate President Warren Petersen (@votewarren), Cartwright School Board President Lydia Hernandez (@Hernandez4AZ) , Representative Matt Gress (@MatthewGress), and Senator Kevin Payne (@KevinPayne4AZ) for leading this conversation, and to everyone who participated, especially the families who spoke.
