We must recognise the fragility of these mountainscapes, their interconnectedness with river & flood plain ecosystems. We will pay the price for unplanned & greedy development that continues to mar these beautiful landscapes & the lives of people who call them home. 10/10

Hillsides in ruins, roads crushed and swept away by boulders and rain, tea and local shops fallen into the valley, cars crushed to pieces...7/10

For a day or two up in Kasar Devi we were able to get spectacular views of the Nanda Devi Trishul ranges. Uttarakhand is truly special and so beautiful! 2/10
