the most remarkable thing about this (provably false) accusation is the fact that the criticism they're applying also directly applies to their own work the eyes in this shion art are pointedly 'different' as well. what's the point of randomly levelling accusations around??

looking at their art, maybe they thought that the eye looked 'different' because it was drawn on a more 3d form as opposed to their faces which seem to be much flatter- ie a lack of understanding of forms. from what i can see theyre prone to drawing one eye and flipping it -

which *works* but doesn't necessarily teach you to look at what's actually going on in terms of the shapes and forms of the face that being said i am NOT professionally trained so wat do i know, i didnt even do an art class in high school

are we all so scared of the ghost of ai we're not using our brains to make reasonable deductions. the speedpaint like Clearly Makes Sense. they decided to change the lighting (probably using an overlay) at some point. how do 'professionally trained' artists not realize that?

this technique is an inaccurate way to spot AI as this sort of artifacting can come from simple jpeg compression. i understand wanting easy ways to spot AI but spreading this will get actual artists randomly accused

do i think the art pictured is ai? yeah, there's a pretty harsh disparity between the coloring/shading/anatomy and the confidence of the lineart, and that style (sailor-moon-esque, as ive dubbed it in my head) is a fairly common one that ai can pump out but *artifacting*? bruh

'artists dont compress their files' they do. i do. 'this sort of artifacting doesnt happen in rainbow colors' it does, especially if you use the sharpen tool in any capacity on your art. u can see it on my own art if u zoom in enough 🤷‍♂️
