With all the stress of build season behind us, and the pressure of competition season shifting into high gear, it might be a good idea to observe #NationalNappingDay before you burn out faster than a stalled motor #omgrobots #FIRSTPOWERUP

Our hearts and thoughts go out to Team 6157 and @team5196, affected by recent school shootings. Please send support and kindness as both teams cope with such a difficult tragedy. #morethanrobots

We are grieving with Parkland. But we are not powerless. Caring for our kids is our first job. And until we can honestly say that we're doing enough to keep them safe from harm, including long overdue, common-sense gun safety laws that most Americans want, then we have to change.

Redlines are red, blue is for traction,
As long as planetary gears revolve
around the sun,
Making #omgrobots with you is always fun
As build season starts to reach the end,
If you won't be our robo-valentine, don't worry!
AndyMark will be your robo-friend.
XOXO @FIRSTweets

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Team Update 11 came out today and minor protrusions NO LONGER COUNT in the robot size! No need to resize your robot! Spread the word, again!

IMPORTANT! ROBOT SIZE RULE R03 IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK!
Minor protrusions such as bolt heads are INCLUDED in the starting size! One bolt sticking out too far will make your robot ILLEGAL! Spread the word! It seems many teams aren’t aware of this.

I'm proud of this piece we did on Rackers lending their expertise in the community. We got to profile @Rackspace developer Austin Page and his mentoring of students on the #HowdyBots, a @FIRSTweets robotics team. Good luck in the competition Howdy Bots! blog.rackspace.com/rackers-g…
