Holy cringe…I’ve never muted a video so fast.
The forced head shaking to create the aesthetic of going hard while saying absolute drivel…
This woman is so corny. Everything about her image and brand feels painfully contrived and manufactured.
You can always spot an “artist” who came out of reality TV or influencer culture because of how artificially they approach being an artist. They fall in love with the image of being an artist before they ever fall in love with the art itself. Instead of letting their work develop its own natural aesthetic, they already have an idea of what being an artist is supposed to look like, and they spend their careers trying to recreate that image.
Their heart isn’t in the craft, it’s in the image and romanticism surrounding the craft. They’re constantly trying to recreate what they thought being an artist looked like before they actually became one, and they’re so conscious of how the internet might react to everything they do that it starts dictating how they behave.
You see this with so many of these new “celebrities” who, whenever there’s a camera in their face, immediately start trying to manufacture a reaction GIF or meme. They’re constantly trying to farm memes, create “iconic” moments, or give people the impression that they’re talented instead of just letting any of those things happen naturally.
They want to be clipped so badly. It’s so unbelievably cringe, and you can literally see them trying lmao.
