Something new is coming to the Middle East Forum. Before it lands, a 30-second map of what it connects: 16 nodes across research and publishing, operations, and policy and legislation. Founded 1994, applied policy research organization. More soon.
In @ArutzSheva_En, Jerry McGlothlin reviews Meir Ben-Shabbat's MEF policy paper on ending the war: "The paper's real value is that it defines victory." He calls its case against Palestinian elections now the strongest section.

My back and forth yesterday with @piersmorgan on Iran.
Piers and Trita Parsi want to claim the US has made no gains in the prosecution of the war against Iran.
I argue that the balance of power in the region has shifted after President Trump took out Iran's nuclear program. The other countries are now taking responsibility for their own neighborhood which was the strategy all along.

Re-sharing @DrJulesGomes review on @idicenter of my book "When Marx Meets Islam" because the Red-Green alliance he analyzes is visible right now.
France’s October riots: ultra-left networks and Islamist-linked elements burning city halls and mixing Palestinian flags with Mélenchon support. El-Sayed’s Michigan campaign: the political “rook” pattern of progressive alliances and Islamist-adjacent ties.
The map is being tested. Review: earlyaccess.idicenter.org/p/…
Michigan's Democratic Senate primary was decided by 13,792 votes after a summer of politicking by at least seven mosques. @emahyar on why the IRS, which almost never revokes tax status, appears to give Islamist groups a pass.

MEF Exec Dir @greggroman cited by @TIME on reported U.S.-Israeli plans to strike Iran after the midterms. On Israel's election: a strike "ordered in the last weeks of a deadlocked campaign would be judged in Israel as politics as well as strategy."

MEF Chief Strategist @jimhansondc on Piers Morgan Uncensored with @piersmorgan:
"Iran is no longer the hegemon with their axis of resistance and all of their proxies pushing things their direction. All of their proxies are more or less destroyed."
