For those who will be taking their first dip into Star Force and wondering what version to play, the answer is simpler than you think. Unlike in Battle Network, the forms can be shared with your friends through your Brotherband, so you can basically just operate on Rule of Cool.
I'd say this is more akin to how 8 does (most) weaknesses, where using them during certain attacks causes a unique reaction.
One interesting thing that went under the radar, @/maximilian_ mentioned in a videos that Twinkle Girl has an unique interaction with "the drill" (aka Jet stinger).
The way he described it actually sounds similar to how some MM7 bosses interact with their weakness.

Now I can have a much cleaner version of this.
Tank Man can hardly contain his rage as this robot oil manager spins out of control in Mega Man: Dual Override!
After reaching his boiling point from the lack of being acknowledged, he'll have plenty in store for this slippery skirmish! #MegaManDO

My predictions were soooo off, but honestly this is a really cool curveball design. A BOILER tank is a unique take on a “Tank Man”
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one
