"......where workers do the basic requirements of a job but refuse to do anything more might be hitting the economy"
Good
Why should ordinary workers do extra work for nothing at a time when bankers are raking in millions for doing next to F-all

It doesn't seem very advisable to allow medical treatment that affects sexual development to be given to children below the age of majority. Better that people take these very drastic decisions as adults no longer needing parental consent.

It's shocking to see 'low-wage care workers' portrayed as a drain on the welfare state. They're doing essential jobs and the only reason they claim benefits is that the fat cat private equity bosses that own care homes don't pay them enough to live on.

From memory at the time, in Europe Apps had been developed for circa £6 Billion and they worked. There must be an investigation into this, something that is the biggest financial scandal of the Tories during covid. And guess who was a close friend of Johnson?
Very good question. Didnt the Inquiry deal with it at all?

The whole thing seems to have disappeared without a trace, @didoharding.'

Gas, not renewables, is the biggest driver of UK electricity bills. Pricier gas explains nearly 90% of the rise in household bills since 2020.
Gas plants still set the power price most of the time. Cutting gas is the surest way to cut bills.

“Living standards are falling for us.” Yet UK banks just posted £29bn in half-year profits. Lloyds’ profits jumped 99% to £2.3bn as mortgage rates hit 6%, while Shell doubled its profits to £8bn. This isn’t just an economic crisis; it’s a wealth transfer.

📈Just getting by costs 3.9% more than it did a year ago
💡Fuel and light are 8.9% more expensive
⛽Petrol and diesel prices have risen more than 30%
Overall prices have risen a huge 42% since March 2021
And that means that, without significant pay rises, wages just can’t provide.

But the logic of technology that becomes more & more powerful is that income no longer needs to depend on work. This is not a bad thing. We just cant cope with it.

“I regard most of the problems in this country as being laid at the door of Jeremy Hunt.”
Ex-BoE deputy Howard Davies says Hunt’s “unfundable” NI cuts trapped Labour, and have boxed in every budget since.

In government @Conservatives tripled the National debt while simultaneously slashing public services.
Now in opposition tories have made 35 billion of unfunded handouts to the richest in society and miscalculated their numbers by half a trillion pounds. Same old tories.

There will always be some racists & xenopobes, but we need to return to a time when people largely kept that unfortunate aspect of their character hidden away in private. Once, a source of shame, something to hide & feel guillty about, has now often become for many something to publicly flaunt & be proud of. Racism needs to crawl back to its proper home - under a stone!

We were told The Thatcher free market of Privatisation, tax cuts at the top would be for the greater good.
The reality-
Some of the highest energy and utility bills in the world
proceeds of sell offs went on handouts for the rich not on public services.
The rich got richer
Maybe a related observation: Swiss Franc has lost 3% versus Pound in last year.

Healey's Budget is the most popular in our tracker since 2022.
33% of those who heard about it feel positive and 28% negative.
It's the first fiscal event we've polled where more positive than negative.

Our unemployment rate is 4.7%.
Anything under 5% is defined as full employment by the governments own definition.
The benefits bill isn't spiralling out of control.
They are creating a moral outrage over absolutely nothing.
We are in a period of full employment.

Reading through the OBR report, found this fascinating nugget given the current hysteria over benefits and disability support: welfare spending is actually 1.2% lower as a share of GDP than it was in 2012/13.

We need personal and financial investigations on senior ministers in power.
We need and end to "donations" from corporations that benefit.
We need to make it a criminal offence for a senior minister in government to lie intentionally.
We need to penalise corporations with obscene PROFITS from a cost of living crisis.
We need to review and disband ALL 'OF' government agencies that are NOT helping the public and even preventing companies paying compensation to the public in cases they feel they have under performed and who are solely responsible for the outrageous and immoral energy cap rises.
We also need independent reviews of local government spending practices as a matter of urgency. Especially concerning contracts to cronies practices.
We need an independent investigation of how deep the Zi0nist lobby has infiltrated the government and the government's full details on its part in facilitating genocide with personal criminal cases to follow if required.
We MUST have an independent audit on the money trail of donations to Ukraine.
Etc etc etc.
Good luck Mr Polanski. Really hope your ideas are successful 🙏

If one single penny of taxes is handed to a corporation (It turns out trillions are handed to corporations in the form of inflated contracts, subsidies) that negates any notion of a free market
