Windows 11 ARM64 running on Apple MacBook Neo, Sound Card driver and speaker are working but volume is pretty low, and needs a fix.
I have the first my own mobile client of my own trading software and server running at home.
This enables me to see the current status and my positions during the day, and what is going on at home, while I am away.
This is the very first version generated by Opus 5.5, use IB gateway and market data subscription ($135/m).
My goal is to achieve the similar level of fluency of TradingView, but use IB gateway running at home.
I now have 7 different laptops running Googlebook OS and Codex is debugging each of them via USB Ethernet and ADB.
Including Snapdragon X1/8cx gen2/7c, intel meteor and alder lakes
About 5 more laptops to join them. Simply because I ran out of USB Ethernet adapters and Ethernet cables.
Why Ethernet cables are so expensive? Never get it.
Codex is unhappy with me, b/c I touched the keyboard and touchpad while it was debugging. I am so, so sorry.
Windows 11 ARM64 WiFi is working on MacBook Neo as of now.
Working on audio driver and enablement at the moment.
Not sure if I will have time today to work on these 3 Qualcomm Snapdragon ARM64 laptops.
Want to wrap them up and then probably give these away, out of my house.
Snapdragon 835 / 850 / another 7c gen2
AI-charted Googlebook OS (Qualcomm Snapdragon) install fest?
Plus, Windows 11 ARM64 on Apple MacBook Neo bring-up, by a WebCam + Codex
(USB Ethernet adapters for e2e debugging purpose using ADB)
(Qualcomm should send me a spot-bonus - I own each of its SoC model)
Converted 2 ARM64 Chromebook to Ubuntu Linux
1) Lenovo Duet 3 - Snapdragon 7c
2) Lenovo Slim 3 - MediaTek Kompanio 520
Next step is Googlebook OS
Able to handle touchpad and keyboard input now. But it’s a little sluggish. Still debugging (I mean, Codex - I am going to sleep).
All of sudden, it has booted into Windows 11 ARM64 desktop.
I am heading out to BestBuy and for dinner. Asked Codex to optimize the boot time and reduce the burden, and then will work on driver support (bootcamp experience).
Googlebook OS boots in DELL Inspiron 14 3420 (Snapdragon 8CX Gen2).
The image was made for Samsung Galaxy Book Go 5G (8cx gen2), but it didn't work for Samsung.
On more Qualcomm laptop included in the supported list.
Given Googlebook OS is working on ASUS A14 (Snapdragon X1 Plus), so is Ubuntu 26.04.
Will release bootable ISOs on GitHub when ready.
