1/? So we’re supposed to fly @AmericanAir from GUA > DFW > MSP tomorrow. There is an apocalyptic snowstorm in the Twin Cities tonight into tomorrow and DFW > MSP is cancelled. Snow ends Sunday night.
3/3 So in order to get home anywhere near on time, we have to eat the rental car and drive seven hours.

Something I learned ... MN Sec of State updates results only every 10 minutes. No matter how many times you hit refresh, that doesn't change. And this year, it is on the 0:08, 0:18 0:28 sequence.

Now that the polls have closed in Minnesota, I want to thank the thousands of poll workers and election administrators across the state who have worked so hard to deliver an election that’s fair, honest, accurate, and secure.
LFG.

Excellent. Congrats to @sauraforward3 for a great campaign!
UPDATED: Russell called Saura Jost and conceded around 11 p.m., when the final precincts trickled in. Jost will be the next Ward 3 city council member. We'll hear more about Ward 1 and Ward 7 on Friday. twincities.com/2023/11/07/a-…

My campaign has long been aware outside money was coming in to influence the Ward 3 election. I’m proud of the grassroots support my campaign has generated as the result of my ties to the community–the majority of donations I’ve received have come from residents of St. Paul. 1/5

No gun law is perfect.
No amount of gun laws could prevent every murder.
But gun laws would prevent some murders.
And it could be your murder or your wife’s murder or your husband’s murder or your son’s murder or your daughter’s murder.
So we should try.

My life from age 19-24 was consumed by a dumb war. Every day since has been shaped by it. Occasionally for the better, often for the worse.
I’ve never been ashamed that I went where my country asked me to go, just saddened that that’s what my country asked me to do. 1/5

We recruited @mgludden to lead @SPNN six years ago. He's done an amazing job!! Congratulations Martin! Excited to see what comes next for you!! startribune.com/spnn-directo…
Thanks Dan! I’ve noted the same as our paths have crossed over the years. Good luck to you!
Congrats & well done @mgludden! He and I have almost eerily similar career paths: Iraq war vets, became staffers for a US Senator in MN, great success in leadership roles past 6 years, ready for new opportunity. No doubt he’ll continue to be successful!
