The testimonies coming from Oleshky residents echo some of the darkest chapters in Ukrainian history. We met with Valentyna Demydova, who was evacuated from Oleshky. She recounts her experiences of hunger and fear after Russia cut the city off from basic supplies.

Made my day!

Bodycam footage from Ukrainian police officers in Komyshuvakha.
After the first Russian airstrike, they went down into an underground shelter together with civilians. Then more Russian bombs struck the shelter. Their bodycams kept recording until the very end 😢
At least 37 (as of now!) people were killed that day.
Is this just a Twitter bug?
Whenever I open a profile, the message “This account has blocked you” flashes on the screen for a split second, even on profiles of people who follow me.
Just a harmless bug, or could it indicate that my account is being shadowbanned or something?

Oleshky, occupied Kherson region.
This is what russia called a “humanitarian mission”.
russian troops removed around 30 bodies from the local hospital during the operation. Residents fear some of these people may have died violently.
Now the bodies are gone. Potential evidence has been removed. An independent investigation into their deaths may become impossible.
russia turned a humanitarian mission into a cover for concealing possible war crimes.
And this happened under the cover of a humanitarian pause facilitated with US involvement.
BREAKING: NEW FOOTAGE obtained by Sky News exposes how russia exploited a humanitarian pause in Oleshky to strengthen its military positions.
Ukraine’s General Staff has confirmed it.
During the evacuation, russian troops brought in heavy equipment, reinforced positions and used humanitarian routes to supply their forces.
Even worse: around 30 bodies were removed from the local hospital. Residents fear some may have died violently. Their removal risks making an independent investigation impossible.
russia turned a humanitarian pause into a military operation.
This shows that russia wants no peace. It only uses ceasefires to advance its war.
