The Chief Political Commissar, CP Hillary Kulayige, yesterday engaged political and security leaders in Kagadi District to strengthen community policing and address the rampant theft of agricultural produce affecting household livelihoods.
He urged police officers to work closely with LC III chairpersons and security committees, intensify foot and motorised patrols, and conduct case conferences to improve the management of cases involving habitual offenders.
The engagement follows the IGP’s visit to Kagadi earlier this month to assess the security situation and strengthen efforts to combat crime.
