Designing in code is great, but it’s too easy to get locked into linear iteration paths. This is the first product I’ve seen that embraces the non-linearity of design work and makes it easy to diverge and explore
I was shocked that 3/4s of designers work in coding agents rather than design tools. This is crazy?? Designers deserve a tool built for them, not just for developers. That's why I'm building @proto_ide, the designer’s IDE. The shape of Claude Code and Cursor, but with every design feature you wish they’d ship. Early access signups are open. If you want a tool that finally unlocks your full creative potential, sign up at prototypes.fun :)

Craft Agent by @craftdocs is proof that, if you really care, Electron apps can look and feel native. Incredible craftsmanship

This would be like an architect not knowing building materials. Sure you can imagine the impossible but then what? Pound the table and hope someone comes up with a way to make it real? Much better (for most) to come with the knowledge of how to manifest the vision.
If a designer knows how to code, it actually makes him worse If you know about how it will be implemented, you start to limit yourself If Steve Jobs was an engineer, he wouldn't have designed the iPhone

Getting roasted by AI during onboarding is a new experience @interaction. Delightful? Maybe. Novel? Definitely.

As a remote company, we've been dogfooding this internally @rallyspace for a few weeks now for "Demo Fridays". People add videos to playlist throughout the week, AI summarizes highlights. Super easy to follow along + completely async team updates.

In @rallyspace, your camera feed and recording controls stay at your fingertips when you're recording a presentation—no plugins or apps needed
The new PiP option keeps your recording controls on screen even as you're switching between windows. It's 100% browser native, so no extensions or app install required. 🎥 Give it a try via the "Picture-in-Picture" option when starting a new recording.

Good design seems inefficient to people with an accountancy mindset. Bad design seems like an efficient process, but in reality it pushes inefficiency to production

Fun stuff in the works. Still a long way to go!
I made this for an investor update, why not share here too. We added multiplayer slide and screen recording to @rallyspace — now your product update videos can be a team sport with no video editing required. Ft special twin guest star @zachdunn If you want to give it a whirl, the link is below

This is your monthly reminder to write under an eighth grade level if you want understanding. Big words trap big ideas. Simple writing adds reach. It’s a superpower anyone can add to their work day.

PDFs are everywhere, but that doesn't make them the best way to share (how's my rhyming?). Upload them to Rally, record a voice over for each page, and send it as a story. More engaging for your audience, easier to update later.
If you've recorded a presentation before, you know it gets outdated in a hurry. Your product gets updated, but your pitch doesn't. Recorded content is a pain to update — because you have redo the entire thing. Not anymore!

When a company is great at product update, it's fun to follow along. And yet, video updates are a nightmare to pull together, so they are rare. At @rallyspace, we're making product stories easy to share (and assemble) as a team. Here's a look at what we're making:
