Bought a house back in June. Today I’ve been tidying the garden & came across this packet of crisps with a BBF date 28.07.18 @UKrubbishwalks

One of our members @michaelmas79 has spotted a Lizard Orchid still growing in the same place in Huntingdonshire. It’s been there for at least 5 years. Great pictures 👍 cracking species of Orchid. @ukorchids @Britainsorchids #Orchid #UKorchid

At a chalk quarry site we own in North Lincolnshire we’ve had 2 piles of rubble dumped containing Japanese Knotweed. A treatment plan in place to try & halt the spread, set up no go areas & installed warning signs @InvasiveSp @CheckCleanDryGB #INNSweek

Despite the wind it didn’t stop us from carrying out a spot of rock pooling at Longis Beach. Our most impressive find was this Sea Hare grazing on the seaweed. “Take nothing but pictures; leave nothing but footprints; kill nothing but time” @AlderneyWT #LivingSeas

@michaelmas79 One of our members has been out & spotted the Lizard Orchid growing in its usual place in Huntingdonshire. Last yr we thought we lost it due to the hot weather as it was brown & crispy. @Love_plants @BSBIbotany @ukorchids @Britainsorchids

I was at Grafham Water early yesterday (30.04.23) & I got to hear my first Cuckoo of the year, sadly only 1 Nightingale singing. Plenty of other birds to see, Lesser Whitethroat, Reed, Willow & Harden Warblers. @GrafhamWater1 @wildlifebcn @Fauna_Flora1948 @_BTO @CambsBirdClub

I’ve just listened to the NEW @CIEEMnet Podcast. It’s really informative & interesting giving a short overview of a couple of topics: Invasive Non-Native Strategy, IPCC report & the High Seas Treaty. Looking forward to next month’s Podcast 👍

The Barbados Osprey is becoming more famous by the minute! All being well I’ll be talking about it on @bbc5live at 6:50am tomorrow morning and then on @BBCBreakfast at 9:05am.
Amazing news! A Scottish Osprey, from a nest in Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park, has been photographed in Barbados, having crossed the Atlantic on its first migration. Read the full story by @timmackrill on our website: roydennis.org/2023/03/24/a-t… Photos: Michael St John

How ever you like your pancakes lemon & sugar or orange & sugar or chocolate spread or going savoury. Please think about what you do with the fat or oil that you’ve been cooking with. Don’t pour it down the sink!! Let it cool & bin it! @AnglianWater
