Email from @autopilotus "your job is to grow, not write scientific papers" Clearly they don't know me very well :D
This is new work with Sourcemeta and our @dataunitylab on significantly accelerating JSON Schema validation. Really happy with where we got in terms of performance!

I've been using the @arcinternet browser for quite a while now and I'm living it. My biggest complaint is that it isn't available on Linux and there's a good chance it never will be 😕

Midjourney, DALL•E 3 and GPT-4 have opened a world of endless possibilities.
I just coded "Angry Pumpkins 🎃" (any resemblance is purely coincidental 😂) using GPT-4 for all the coding and Midjourney / DALLE for the graphics.
Here are the prompts and the process I followed:

Auto-Regressive LLMs can't plan
(and can't really reason).
"While our own limited experiments didn't show any significant improvement [in planning abilities] through fine tuning, it is possible that with even more fine tuning data and effort, the empirical performance may well improve. But all that such fine tuning is doing is converting the planning task into a memory-based (approximate) retrieval. It doesn't prove that LLMs are able to plan."
📢 My new piece for @blogCACM summarizing my views and our ongoing work on the planning/reasoning abilities of LLMs..

Cool to see ways @Google and other are trying generative AI and databases together. Nice to see that there are local models available.
