Hey @Ask_WellsFargo, I need a 1099 document for tax year 2021 for a loan I paid off in June 2022. Because I paid off the loan, the account disappeared from my online account. Your online bankers say it'll take 3-5 business days to get this information? WTF?

I need this information today. Please advise.

We need sensible gun laws NOW. Every innocent child is a potential future victim of another school shooting unless we introduce change.
I'm disgusted by politicians who defend 2A after yet another tragedy. The constitution was amended 27 times when it no longer served the people. One of those amendments (18th) was repealed when it no longer served the people. 2A as it stands today no longer serves the people.
The moment to stop Uvalde was right after Sandy Hook. After Santa Fe High. After El Paso. Instead, Abbott made it easier to carry guns in public. The moment to stop the next slaughter is right now.

Governor Abbott, if you have any decency, you will immediately withdraw from this weekend’s NRA convention and urge them to hold it anywhere but Texas.

It takes a monster to kill children. But to watch monsters kill children again and again and do nothing isn’t just insanity—it’s inhumanity.

👺The Masks We Wear Today I turn 51. I feel stronger & sharper—and more importantly, more content—than ever. But my path wasn’t easy. I’m going to share some things I’ve never said publicly in the hope that it helps one person. 🧵👇

One of the best leadership lessons I learned came from someone I worked for at Gilead Sciences. My manager Anil and I were working on a problem. When we were done with design, he said "The rest of this is tedious work, I can do it tonight. Why don't you go home? You deserve it".
Pro tip: Address people the way they sign their emails. It's a huge pet peeve of mine when I sign my emails "Michael" and someone calls me "Mike" afterwards.

PSA: Bitcoin is not a Ponzi scheme. I've had 2 different conversations with 2 different people tell me they are, so I want to clarify this misconception.

Bitcoin operates on the Greater Fool theory of investing, where you can buy something because you are betting that someone else is going to buy it from you at a higher price. A Ponzi scheme is when existing investors are paid using capital from new investors.

If I buy a vintage car for $30,000 because I think it will sell for $50,000 a year later, greater fool theory. If I buy a security that guarantees 12% annual returns but I can only cash out when new investors sign up, ponzi scheme. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

I’m Asian American and I belong here. RT if you are too or you agree.
NYPD says 65-year-old Asian American woman was walking to church this morning when suspect assaulted her and said “f*** you, you don’t belong here.” Happened in front of 360 W. 43rd St. 11:40am. Sources say building security guard not only failed to render her aid... 1/2

One thing I learned in my years of sciencing is that "omg they are SO SMART, I don't understand any of this" is actually "oh no, this person is not good at giving talks."

When you have a hammer, every problem looks like a nail. But when you have a paintbrush, you can paint over anything really. Stains, holes, dead bugs. This is great

Currently in St Louis for business. The number of establishments that require masks, yet the employees not wearing masks, is too damn high.

I’ve noticed mask etiquette and socioeconomic status are correlated. Poorer neighborhoods don’t wear masks, middle class neighborhoods wear masks.
