"Happiness. The state of being sufficient." — Summer Strike, 2022 We live to seek happiness, isn't it? I heard this rhetorical remark every time, but is that how to live a life? I resonate deeply w/ the concept of happiness in Summer Strike. For me, happiness is in the moment +

#KitchenForSingles es un mini‑drama japonés precioso disponible en YouTube: una chica que vive sola, cocina cada noche y encuentra calma en los pequeños rituales del día a día. Doce episodios que son puro confort para desconectar del mundo.💖

Si echas de menos MINDHUNTER, ésta es tu serie: THROUGH THE DARKNESS. Doce intensos episodios sobre el primer perfilador criminal de Corea del sur que se 'enfrentó' a algunos de los psicópatas más temidos, explorando la mente del mal con un enfoque frío y fascinante.

I wonder if people are aware how many seldom-seen and experimental films are just sitting on Vimeo, often uploaded by the directors themselves. Here's a thread of some interesting stuff:

it's always a good feeling when i read a post here that's being honest and genuine. the words i read feels like "i feel safe to be me". it's one of the reasons why i'm still coming back here. and curating my space so that i only see respectful people.

As someone who watched kdrama when I was unemployed, I only watched these tropes for the laugh and fun. What touched my soul and what I truly love were none of these but slice-of-life with wise and sensible lessons.

Average K-drama plot > Rich chaebol heir > Falls in love with poor girl > Leaves all his work to chase her > Gives her expensive gifts > CEO of a big company but always free to serve her > In the end she becomes a CEO in his company No wonder unemployed girls love K-dramas.

I finished #RomanticsAnonymous and I lovee it, probably one of my favorite this year. I always start watching Hyojoo's work with good expectation and this one def didn't disappoint. Super lovely, subtle, and good energy!
