In any case, cycling has skyrocketed in popularity in recent years — as the city has added more bike lanes and Bike Share has taken off to the tune of 5.5 million rides last year.

The Taliban have now BANNED women from hearing each other’s voices in public or private settings.
This is nothing short of vile, inhumane barbarity. It’s not just oppression—it’s a ruthless assault on Afghan women’s very existence.

BREAKING: Ford govt votes NO to universal access to mental health care in Ontario!
Unbelievable. You should only need your health card, NOT your credit card! Folks shouldn't have to abandon therapy because they can't afford it.

Shared with me:
"Hello! I wanted to share these results with you which I find remarkable: Back of throat strong positive, nose weakly positive, I was a Novid up until this week."
😢
When testing check your throat as well as your nose.
❤️
And stay safe.

Life is never dull in @fordnation. Free rapid tests again at Shopper’s, but a staffer told me that they’ll be charging for the tests starting next week. Worth a shot to try and grab a few free boxes while you still can!
3 years later and Ontario’s #FreeTheRATs is still a mess.

"How could Trudeau let Nijjar live in Canada?!"
Nijjar was granted Canadian citizenship in 2007. By the Harper Government.
In case you were wondering.

I do not support limiting city powers. It’s always better when we work together to get things right. To tackle congestion and keep people safe on city roads we need all types of transportation. The Province should focus on their job of finally getting the Eglinton Crosstown and Finch West LRTs open, which will have a huge impact on congestion in our city.

The Ford Conservatives have destroyed a public forest & park in order to give this valuable waterfront property to a private Austrian Corp to build a mega spa in a 95 year lease.
It's a scene of devastation that 190 bird species, fox, mink, & beavers used to call home.

Trees are coming down at Ontario Place. This is absolutely shameful & a crime against future generations.
This is a forest & public parkland in downtown Toronto being destroyed for a private mega spa.
This destruction is being subsidized with $1.5 billion tax dollars.

Unfortunately I don’t know the source material, so I hope I’m not putting bad info out there, but in my experience I had no side effects with Novavax so according to Twitter science I’m immortal now, right?
Replying to @1goodtern
For mRNA 3 months.
For Novavax 8 months assuming primary series and one booster already administered.
I’ve never been a conservative voter, but I dunno, I believe there was once a time when they had a little more respect for themselves.

At Queen's Park, during a committee hearing: Treasury Board Pres. Caroline Mulroney boasted about the gov'ts $600M deficit (2023-24).
"After 15 years of a Liberal gov't, I don't think people can even imagine getting this close to a balanced budget."
The Liberals balanced the budget in 2017. The PC government has yet to achieve balance.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:
I genuinely think that if you properly clean the air in schools and hospitals, you have a good chance of shutting down covid transmission enough to tip the balance into stopping it altogether.
Public transport, prisons, shelters, shops, businesses, offices, factories, every other shared building helps.
But schools and hospitals are the links in almost every chain of infection I see locally here.
