The Sudbury Wolves organization mourns the passing of Ron Duguay following his courageous battle with cancer. 🕊️
Born and raised in Sudbury, Ron proudly represented his hometown Wolves, recording 361 points in 245 games over four seasons. His legendary #10 hangs in the rafters, forever cementing his legacy in Wolves history.
On October 2nd, we were honoured to celebrate Ron during Ron Duguay Night, giving him the opportunity to reunite with friends, family, and the fans who supported him throughout his career.
Our deepest condolences go out to Ron’s loved ones.
Rest in peace, Ron. Once a Wolf, always a Wolf. 🐺🕊️

It’s been nine years since we lost Gord Downie. He may be gone but, for me and so many Canadians, his music and lyrics are still part of the soundtrack to our lives. I can’t think of who I’d want more around the campfire in the summer or on the way to the rink in the winter.

The Royal Canadian Legion’s National Poppy Campaign is set to launch soon, on October 24 - a new permanent date going forward. New and returning initiatives will highlight this year’s period of Remembrance, right up until November 11.
“Each year, Canadians step up with amazing support for the National Poppy Campaign,” says Sharon McKeown, Dominion President. “Their generosity and caring are what allow us to host a range of programs and support initiatives for our Veterans and their families across the country.”
