In France ChatGPT is pronounced the same as 'Chat, j'ai pété' which means 'Cat, I have farted'. Which seems to sum the whole thing up pretty neatly.
Finding #30DaysOfQGIS very useful. Today finally worked out how to use that 'run as batch process' button. Immediately applied to an NDVI model I needed to run on 10 layers today.

On 24 July, #Sentinel3🇪🇺🛰️ captured this remarkable view over Western #Australia🇦🇺 ⬇️
Notice the contrasts between the lush, green forests on the left and the arid, desert landscape on the right 🌲🏜️
Perth, the fourth largest city in Australia, is visible on the left

Since the only thing that makes twitter worthwhile is the people on it, and a number seem to be moving to mastondon, I have set up a mastodon account @mikedufty@fosstodon.org

I *think* this is a pair of eastern bettongs racing around the forest. I’m basing that on the size, what I could see of the shape of the back legs, and the known fact that bettongs are warp capable... #CameraTrap #WildOz #MammalWatching #lutruwita #Tasmania

Yesterday, Senior Biodiversity Officer Jarna was out in the field east of Perenjori, when she stumbled upon this little guy!
The Shield Back Shrimp (Triops australiensis) eggs can lay dormant for up to a decade, and hatch in large numbers after a big rain! How cool?!

A graph of British Rivers
ALT A map showing South West England and Wales, labelled "Graph of British Rivers". Two river courses are shown, labelled 'Wye axis' and 'Exe axis'. Does anyone read these descriptions, or am I wasting my time?
Coincidentally I was just checking out PVoutput.org to compare output of north and south facing PV solar systems. No wonder the south facing one was doing so well. Better check winter figures before buying panels for my south roof.

Final count-down to the end of our crowdfunding campaign: this will improve #QGIS tools for handling point cloud and elevation data. Let's make this happen:

With #QGIS 3.22, you can now correct yourself imperfect DEM.
Here, a raster DEM is transformed into a mesh layer.
After editing, it is possible to transform the mesh back into a raster.
