6’5 Keishaun White(‘29) Uses Length, Athleticism, and Playmaking on the Wing🏀 White is a sophomore wing for @MensSfp whom we covered during The Preview hosted by @eleve11hoops. In this showing, White impacted the game defensively, which resulted in scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. He used his length and good timing to jump passing lanes, defend guards, and strip ball handlers. On multiple possessions, after forcing a turnover, he finished above the rim or threw hit-ahead passes to his teammates. In half-court scenarios, White did a good job attacking lazy closeouts and getting a paint touch. Once in the paint, he finished with a floater or dished it out to shooters beyond the arc. #NYCBasketball #Eleve11hoops #RipandGo #StFrancisPrep

He spoke on the coaches’ game plan and his superb shooting performance from beyond the arc. Edwards also spoke about what he thinks his team’s weaknesses and strengths are currently. Ethan Edwards(‘28) Picks His Spots and Makes Plays From All Three Levels🏀 Edwards is a junior guard for @MensSfp whom we got to cover during The Preview hosted by @eleve11hoops. With so many talented teammates on the floor, Edwards did what we expect a lead guard to do: set the table for his teammates and be ready to shoot. Edwards did that to perfection in this showing. On multiple possessions, he buried three after three due to his teammates finding him beyond the arc after drawing multiple defenders. He made two threes off the catch and made one off the dribble after selling a pump fake. Edwards likes to use his speed and a change of pace to get in the lane. In situations where his team broke their opponent’s press, he found himself in mismatches with bigger defenders, where he used a hesitation dribble to freeze the big man and finish at the rim. He also showed off his skill set on a drive, where he sold a pump fake that got his defender in the air, and knocked down a one-legged push shot. #StFrancisPrep #Eleve11hoops #RipandGo #NYCBasketball

St Francis Prep Dominates in a 78-58 Win Against Thomas Jefferson🏀 During The Preview hosted by @eleve11hoops, we caught an entertaining game between @MensSfp and @tjc_bk_nyc. St Francis Prep is arguably the most talented team in the city, and their performance against a formidable opponent in Thomas Jefferson was an eye-opener. They got off to a hot start to begin the game and Jefferson had a long night trying to cool them off. With their big man out with an injury, they had five guards on the floor and used their size, high IQ, and athleticism to force turnovers and create scoring opportunities in the open floor. In half-court situations, they shared the ball, never stayed stagnant, and executed the drive and dish game to perfection, which led to them connecting on 10-plus threes. With new faces still adjusting to Jefferson’s style of play, they struggled to find a groove. The Terriers took full advantage and cruised to a 78-58 victory. #RipandGo #NYCBasketball #StFrancisPrep #ThomasJefferson #Eleve11hoops
