At last someone starting to acknowledge that teaching has become a relatively even less attractive job. Don't think cash is the answer but it's a start. How about challenging why some of job couldn't be done remotely?

If I’m honest I was really not enjoying Great Expectations but then Matt Berry popped up and gave exactly the performance you hope he would. Utterly and perfectly silly. It’s astonishing the producers didn’t seem to notice.

No teacher wants to be on strike tomorrow. We enjoy teaching. That's why we do it. But we can't go on getting progressively poorer. We can't go on letting essential support for pupils disappear. We can't go on watching colleagues leave the profession due to stress. We just can't.
