Thomas noticed one thing right away when he switched to MiniMed Flex system: the size!
"I was surprised by how light the device is. The smaller size means I can place the pump in my pocket and still have room to spare. The smaller device is very much appreciated while still getting the 300-unit reservoir."

Pump dimensions on File – IFU Labeling. Overall size related to volume
Today, MiniMed is officially an independent company.
It’s an important milestone, nearly 18 months in the making, and one made possible by thousands of people working toward the same goal. We’re grateful to our teams around the world and to Medtronic for the partnership that helped bring us here.
What hasn’t changed is what matters most: why we’re here.
We believe diabetes should demand less of life. Less time. Less worry. Less effort. So there’s more room for everything else.
As we move forward as an independent MiniMed, that’s what we’ll keep working toward every day.
Making every day a better day for people with diabetes. 💙

From delivery to unboxing to finding her Flex! Abby (and her parents) are loving the #MiniMedFlex life so far.
While her parents were initially concerned about her using a phone, they shared, "The MiniMed Flex has allowed Abby to continue learning how to manage her diabetes independently while giving us, as parents, the ability to monitor her remotely. We can cheer her on when she's doing well, offer support when she needs it, and intervene if necessary—all without taking away the independence she's working so hard to develop. It's not about giving her a phone just for the sake of having one. It's about giving her the technology she needs to manage her diabetes while still allowing her to be a kid."

When Carol was ready to take a break from her insulin pump, she wanted to find a system that felt modern.
"I wanted to find a solution that kept the parts of pump life I valued most — the dosing support, the reminders, the data — while giving me back my body autonomy. After doing some research, I came across MiniMed Go system."
The system combines the InPen smart insulin pen, a compatible CGM, and the MiniMed Go mobile app to provide dose calculations, automatically log doses, and provide alerts when you need more insulin.
"After 13 years of pumping, I genuinely didn't expect returning to injections to feel like gaining something. But that's exactly what it feels like."
