Translation: I misinterpreted the doctor’s words—that it was okay to move my hand—as meaning my hand had fully recovered.
It’s only now that I realize that fracture surgery simply stabilizes the broken bone; it doesn’t mean the bone has actually healed yet.
I wasn’t okay at all, but I pushed myself too hard, ignoring the pain and convincing myself I was fine.
In a state where I couldn’t manage my own mental health at all, I pushed myself too hard at work, snapped at a client, and spewed nothing but trash talk… I kicked away a precious person who had approached me with good intentions.
I’ve let my age go to my head, my character is trash, I can’t do a single thing right, and all I ever do is say “I’m sorry.”
I’m going to take a break from painting for a while. Once the pain subsides, I’ve recovered well, and my condition is fully back to normal, I’ll get back to work with full dedication.
