Things Gustave does with his face that I find way too adorable (says the girl who's been drawing nothing but Verso fanart lately)

There must be a lot going on in his head - the stories he’s making up, the scenes he’s acting out - and his expressions show it all (okay, my GIFs suck, but you get the idea xD)

I stepped outside my comfort zone with this painting, and it shows, but hey, I beat my personal record for the smallest Verso I've ever drawn!

Of course, my top 3 are: 1️⃣ Gustave (my "average" little favorite, lol) 2️⃣ Painted Verso (so much to say about him...) 3️⃣ Lune (the GOAT) On the other hand, there's a whole bunch of people or Nevrons that I just couldn't sort out xD

I saw a COE33-themed Secret Santa on Tumblr, and I'm not sure if I should participate. My work isn’t really well-received, I’m worried that my giftee might be disappointed with a gift created by an amateur 😥 What do you think? Should I do it? And you, are you participating?

I don't mind spending 10 to 30 hours on a painting for less than 20 likes because I'm doing it for myself, to get better. But if it's for someone else... That's way too scary 😰

OK, I promise I'll stop after this, and move on to another project! (well, about the video quality... Lol) #ClairObscurExpedition33 #expedition33 #Gustave #Verso

For Verso, it was inspired by an idea from @MamastaMilla (I couldn’t find the post about Don Diego de la Vega anymore!). For Gustave, the inspiration comes from his icon in the battle UI, where he doesn’t have the same mustache as in the game.

So here they are, both of them… Our eyes are burning, but other than that… They almost look… cute? No?... 🫪 Maybe I should stop painting crap. Or just stop painting 😅

@KUJOGANE Have they lost 90% of their charm, like we were saying last time? 🤣

I won't be participating in this year's Inktober (or any other challenge that involves drawing every day in October) because it's really exhausting, but I can still share a few quick, hand-drawn #Monoco memes that I made last year and never had the chance to post here!

My first watercolor portrait (in 2024) vs. my latest one (this month). Did Expedition33 and its fandom inspire me to improve, despite my constant anxiety? A little, I think!
